How do I import items from Accompa (requirements, features, use cases, etc) into IdeaGlow?

You can import items from Accompa (requirements, features, use cases, etc) into IdeaGlow easily. You can use this to get feedback from your stakeholders before investing time and effort on those items.

To import items from Accompa:

  1. Login using an account that has Administrator privileges.
  2. Click your screen name in the upper right of the page, then click the Site Manager menu.
  3. Click the Import Ideas link in the left sidebar of the "Site Manager".
  4. In the resulting page, click the Import from Accompa tab at the top of the page.
  5. Accompa Object and View:
    Choose an Accompa object and view. All items in the view will be imported into IdeaGlow. Public views, and personal views of the accompa user saved at the "Setup Accompa Integration" page are available.
  6. Define Fields:
    Enter manual or mapped Accompa field values for the data you want to import into IdeaGlow. For manual entries, choose an IdeaGlow field, and then enter a manual value to be imported. For Accompa-to-IdeaGlow mapping, choose the Accompa field(s) and mapped IdeaGlow destination field(s).
  7. Click the Import button to import the items into IdeaGlow.
